Working with worries: Combating relentless worry
presented by Richard Brown from Step Psychology
The most common form of anxiety is that of frequent, persistent and excessive worrying, and this can have a terrible impact on our mental wellbeing. This brief session provides an introduction to a number of different strategies and practices we can use to combat this type of excessive worry and overthinking.
Richard Brown is a local Psychologist and founder of Step Psychology, a busy practice with 10 practitioners servicing the Albury Wodonga community. As a Psychologist, he sees people for help with a variety of presenting concerns but maintains a particular interest in trauma, grief, resilience and leadership coaching. Richard is also a Director of Black Dog Ride, a national charity organisation that works to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention.
